casa bombori is located in minas gerais, near the marimbondo reservoir, on a plot with approximately 75 meters of frontage. with the intention of making the most of the lot’s dimensions and the view of the reservoir, an elongated volume was chosen, allowing the most important rooms to be directed toward this privileged vista.

breaking the monotony of a single large volume, different shapes were created for each sector of the project: the social area is defined by a large exposed concrete roof, while the suites consist of independent bungalows, providing greater privacy for residents and guests.

seeking unity across the entire ensemble, a large glue-laminated timber roof joins the full length of the project. in addition to sheltering the central circulation and protecting the window frames from direct sunlight, it brings a striking and unique personality to the residence.
