geneses

a reflection of respect for brazilian modernism, casa gêneses returns to the roots of the great masters of architecture, seeking simplicity and clarity of design without losing its contemporary presence.

using traditional materials of the period such as concrete made it possible to keep the ground floor open, creating a free plan where the social spaces integrate with all of the residence’s shared amenities.

the concrete end walls of the upper floor run transversely across the entire length of the slab, establishing a rhythm — a strategy widely used in modernism as a legacy of classical architecture.

as the unifying element of the whole project, the vertical circulation was designed as a cylinder, and here it is intentionally emphasized: its organic form clad in perforated modules brings external light that washes the stair, elevating this transitional space into a sensory one.
