the project was born from a collaboration between friendly firms that share a very similar design approach. with a simple and clean geometry, the design revolves around inhabiting the outdoors from any point in the house, with terraces as one of its main elements — transparency and privacy were central factors in the conception, together with excellent views toward the golf course and the magnificent surrounding trees.
the design follows a sustainable and bioclimatic approach, based on prior analysis of climate and local natural orientations, using them to benefit energy consumption and the well-being of the inhabitants.
the project is mostly oriented north to receive maximum natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, protected by a dynamic façade of wooden louver panels that provide privacy when needed and open toward the landscape while preserving the intimacy of each space.
the selected material palette — concrete, wood, steel and glass — creates an elegant and subtle environment, establishing an atmosphere of tranquility and calm that enhances user comfort.
the ground floor is conceived as an open plan divided by sliding wooden panels to ensure privacy for the kitchen and tv areas. the spaces integrate through the terrace and pool, corresponding to the geometry of the terrace on the upper level.
the second floor is designed as the private zone, containing four bedrooms and a family room, all connected by a perimeter terrace that grants each space an interior/exterior relationship, constantly seeking a biophilic presence in daily life.
