luar

on alameda luar stands the residence that, not by chance, bears the same name. on a 669 m² plot with a challenging 8-meter slope, the architect was tasked with designing a single-family house that would best accommodate this demanding terrain.

the project is organized into three distinct levels: the access level as the social area, the first floor strictly private, and the basement combining service and contemplation. this distribution allows the most frequently used spaces to enjoy the landscape, while the lower level provides direct access to the vegetated area in front of the site, remaining visually hidden beneath the upper floors.

the residence gains warmth through the external embrace of wooden slats and the use of the same material on interior ceilings, pairing the simplicity of concrete with the comfort of wood. opaque planes ensure privacy from the access street, while floor-to-ceiling transparent planes establish a full visual connection with the surrounding nature that enriches the site across its entire view.
